CP-4013 Comp-Roc 2

The CP-4013 represents the latest in composite baseband processing. Unlike the brutality of composite clippers and limiters, the CP-4013 integrates a very fast acting compressor which, besides its speed, uses a novel high-bandwidth VCA architecture that introduces no distortion whatsoever at maximum gain. With feed-forward compressor architecture and computer optimized timing circuits, the CP-4013 permits faster attack speeds and a program-dependent release behavior, resulting in a more natural compressor sound. The CP-4013 uses a clipper only for the fastest transients, therefore stereo separation is 60dB or more. The bottom line is that your station will not only sound loud, but will have added presence.
The CP-4013 is easy to set up as a result of the innovation called A.P.R.I.L. (automatic pilot re-insertion loop). A.P.R.I.L. monitors your composite signal and simultaneously adjust the phase of the pilot to be exactly in phase with the original and also nulls the incoming pilot. This results in a signal where the separation is always maintained and the pilot level is maintained at a constant level.
Easy set-up.
