DSG-2001

The DSG-2001 Digital Stereo Generator is designed to meet the changing needs of today's broadcasters by providing a cost effective alternative without sacrificing performance or reliability.

The generator portion consists of large scale integrated circuitry configured in a format to implement four bit digital control of both pilot phase and 38KHz derived sampling of left and right audio.

The 38KHz clock frequency of 2.28MHz is literally twice that of other generators.

The multiplex ports are all buffer isolated minimizing stray capacity within the CMOS switching circuitry and providing improved stereo separation.

Multiple outputs are provided which may be terminated or open ended, each providing an output level capability of +20dBV.

A direct pilot output is provided for interfacing with the Hnat/ Hindes, Inc. CP-2013 Composite Processor, eliminating the need for any pilot phase adjustments.

The input section consists of phase constant low pass filters and a unique low second harmonic clipper (c0.5%) which follows the filter sections to provide incredible control of loudness and high end fidelity.

The input section may be configured to function with any of three pre-emphasis curves as well as "FLAT" or may be fed directly at the MUX ports.

All circuit construction is CAD generated to provide years of superb trouble free performance.
